your interest in this study. My name is Michelle Russell; I am a fourth year of
undergraduate student studying for Honours in Psychology at Edith Cowan
University at Joondalup Campus.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoHeader style='text-align:justify'><span lang=EN-AU>The aim of this
research is to investigate what people think about using solariums, and what
their level of knowledge may be regarding the risks of acquiring skin cancer as
a consequence of getting a tan. It is hoped that this area of research will
reveal factors that may be of assistance for future health education programmes
and interventions for prevention of adverse health affects associated with
ultraviolet radiation. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoHeader style='text-align:justify'><span lang=EN-AU>The design and
rational of this study has satisfied the strict guidelines laid down by the
Edith Cowan University Ethics Committee. Subject to any legal obligations, all
data remains confidential and publication of the results will not result in
disclosure of your identity, and at no time will your name be reported. However
if you are interested in the outcomes of this research project , I will be
happy to share it with you once it is completed, which is scheduled for
