Snap workshop to help develop abstract submissions for ICCP11 and other conferences in 2026
The 11<https://internationalcommunitypsychology.com/>th<https://internationalcommunitypsychology.com/> International Conference in Community Psychology<https://internationalcommunitypsychology.com/> <https://internationalcommunitypsychology.com/> will be held in Lagos, Nigeria 1-4 September 2026
With abstract submissions due by Tuesday 6 January, 2026, the APS College of Community Psychologists is holding a free online workshop designed to:

  *
provide encouragement and guidance to support the development of an abstract submission.
  *
provide information about the Community College's Postgraduate Student Conference Award(s)<https://psychology.org.au/about-us/what-we-do/awards/college/ccom/aps-college-community-psychologists-postgraduate>. This award is designed assist postgraduate students to attend a relevant Conference and give them an opportunity to network and liaise with other postgraduate students and Community Psychologists attending the conference.

The workshop will be led by Sophie Zaccone, a previous recipient of the Conference Award, who presented along with her research team at the 10th ICCP in Uruguay in 2024.
Heather Gridley will also provide details of the application process for the Postgraduate Student Conference Award<https://psychology.org.au/about-us/what-we-do/awards/college/ccom/aps-college-community-psychologists-postgraduate>, which is applicable to any conference relevant to Community Psychology, whether overseas or within Australia. For example, in addition to ICP11 in Nigeria, the International Congress in Applied Psychology<https://www.icap2026.org/> will take place in Florence, Italy in July 2026.
