Calling all Registered and Provisional Psychologists!
Are you a registered or provisional psychologist who is passionate about improving services for survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV)? We need your valuable insights for our latest research project!
Research Aim/s: To explore provisional/registered psychologists’ experiences of providing services to clients who have experienced intimate partner violence (IPV). Participants will be interviewed about experiences of addressing client IPV while working as a psychologist. The following topics will be covered: professional background/ IPV training; factors influencing IPV; perceptions in working with IPV survivors; challenges encountered in psychological practice; perceived gaps in psychologist IPV training.
This study has been approved by the Monash University Human Research Ethics Committee (Project ID: #42621
Who We Need:
- Provisional psychologists in their 2nd year (or part-time equivalent), or
- Registered psychologists, and
- Must have encountered clients who disclosed IPV while receiving psychological services
What to Expect:
- A ~45-minute semi-structured interview conducted via Zoom
- Share your professional experiences & challenges working with IPV survivors
Compensation:
- Receive a $100 gift voucher for your time, or choose to donate it to an IPV charity of your choice
