[Commpsych] Community Psychology spring program - save the dates

Greetings everyone


Now that the days are getting longer and just a wee bit warmer, there's a bunch of Community Psychology events coming up - mostly in Melbourne but there's stuff happening in Sydney as well.


Upcoming Events - SAVE THE DATES NOW!

  *   Tue 22 October 7-9pm - Psychology and the #MeToo Movement at the Treacy Centre in Carlton- flyer attached

A panel discussion hosted by the College of Community Psychologists and Women & Psychology Interest Group

· What do psychologists need to know?

· How can we contribute further?

  *   Mon 4 November - Psychology and Homelessness Joint event in SYDNEY with Women & Psychology and the new Psychology and Homelessness Interest Group
  *   Tue 12 November - a youth driven forum on climate change (during Psychology Week) at MetroWest.
hosted by the College of Community Psychologists in collaboration with Psychologists for Peace.
  *   Tue 26 November - Annual General Meeting (Victorian Section) & dinner or movie afterwards
  *   Supervision groups - several formats possible, depending on demand: peer supervision, 'speed dating', or supervisor-facilitated for Community Psychology registrars



In the pipeline for 2020

  *   African Australian students and Education
  *   Children and suicide for us
  *   Two psychologists walked into a bar...
  *   And of course June 26-28 is 8ICCP 2020 - the 8th International Conference in Community Psychology<https://communitypsychologyaustralia.com.au/> comes to Melbourne


SO... spring into spring and collect all those CPD points along the way.
