[GUN VIOLENCE IS A PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS: APA Supports March For Our Lives]





Dear APA Member,
The tragic events of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas school shooting in Parkland, FL have brought renewed public attention to the gun violence epidemic in America. As a scientific organization, APA routinely advocates for a public health approach to gun violence prevention and supports evidence-based programs and policies that can reduce the occurrence and impact of firearm-related violence in the United States.

Come to APA headquarters (750 First St., NE, Washington, DC 20002) to pick up materials such as badges and stickers and to customize your own sign.



Day of the March
APA will provide a meeting place for psychologists and their friends and family close to the rally route, which will be announced later. Join us, meet fellow psychologists, and show your support for evidence-based solutions to the gun violence epidemic.
