Call for Abstract Submissions

This one-day conference will be hosted by the APS Women and Psychology Interest Group on November 28, 2015. The aim of this Conference is to share information about issues and initiatives related to mothering. The mini-conference is open to everybody interested or involved in issues related to mothering, including fertility, parenting, grand-parenting, legal issues, post-natal depression, family violence and work-life balance.

Abstracts are invited for presentations of short papers or brief workshops of 20 or 40 minutes duration. This invitation is extended to anyone whose work supports women in any aspect of mothering, including nurses, social workers, youth workers, allied health workers, doctors and researchers – not to mention mothers. Presenters do not need to be members of the Women and Psychology Interest group or of the APS.

Abstracts can be submitted to psychrespect at optusnet.com.au<mailto:psychrespect at optusnet.com.au> by 5pm, Friday 14 August. The Conference Committee of the Women and Psychology Interest Group will determine the Conference Program and will notify correspondents by the end of August.
