Community Research Team, National Drug Research Institute

The National Drug Research Institute, Curtin University, is seeking expressions of interest regarding a Research Officer position from enthusiastic and organised people with an interest in public health. The team conducts research that informs community evidence-based intervention and policy, including research within school settings. The team offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for ongoing training and career development. Applicants should have completed tertiary qualifications, preferably honours level or higher in a relevant area.
The position will involve working on two school-based projects: the Commonwealth Illicit Drug Education Resource Project, focusing on development of a teacher and parent illicit drug resource package; and the Climate Schools Combined study, an internet-based universal prevention trial for anxiety, depression and substance use in young Australians.
