Just forwarding this notice about an interactive workshop on the theoretical foundations of the Lighthouse Therapeutic Family Model of Care™ including Attachment, Object Relations, Trauma Neurobiology and Psychological Wellness theories - this work was mentioned at yesterday's CP planning meeting, and is led by Vic Uni CP graduate Rudy Gonzalez, who co-authored the book on this subject that was recently put out for review in the Australian Community Psychologist.

The Model in Practice: Understanding the Lighthouse Therapeutic Family Model of Care™


Are you interested in learning about an attachment and trauma informed approach to therapeutic residential care?


You are invited to an interactive workshop on the theoretical foundations of the Lighthouse Therapeutic Family Model of Care™ including Attachment, Object Relations, Trauma Neurobiology and Psychological Wellness theories.

Participants will learn about the experience of young people and practitioners at Lighthouse and gain an understanding about the role of the whole organisation in the treatment of traumatised young people.
