An evening of film and song
A fundraiser that’s fun…
Join us for a special fundraising screening of Song for Marion, a new British film starring Vanessa Redgrave and Terence Stamp on a ‘life affirming journey of musical discovery’. A comedic drama about a highly unconventional local choir… now that sounds like us!
A $22 ticket will buy you some gourmet nibbles, a brief sample of our current repertoire and a ticket to the movie at the Westgarth Cinema. Buy tickets from your friend or family member in the choir, or call Mel on 0413 376 194.
All funds raised will help us share music with choirs throughout Victoria on our upcoming tour (from 14 – 22 September, 2013).

A Mothers’ Day special
Werribee Open Range Zoo
As a special treat for Mothers’ Day, we are singing at Werribee Open Range Zoo. Enjoy a lovely family day out at one of Melbourne’s star attractions. Friends of BWC will enjoy a 20% discount on adult zoo admission, and kids under 16 are free!
Tickets include full zoo entry and a safari bus tour. Be sure that you book onto a tour that starts before 10.20 am or after 1.00 pm, to avoid missing our gig at 12.00 pm. You can book the safari tour when you arrive at the zoo.
Bring a picnic or eat at the zoo bistro. There will also be other special Mothers’ Day events, including Indian Head Massage and the Crazy Nail Sisters! This is definitely not one to be missed!
