Recruitment Update!



CURRENT VACANCY:

The Senior Project Officer (SPO), Indigenous Health Promotion supports and contributes to the development of VicHealth activity designed to address health inequalities experienced by Indigenous Victorians. The role will support and facilitate health promotion practice aligned with the Victorian Aboriginal health promotion framework within VicHealth, as well as in external organisations and networks.

Closing Date: Sunday 01 April (11:00 pm)
Unit: Participation and Equity for Health
Tenure: Full-time, Limited Tenure (12 months)
Classification: VicHealth Level D
Salary: $71,580 (exclusive 9% superannuation)

Qualifications and experience required:

*         Relevant qualifications in health promotion, community development or another relevant area

*         At least 5 years experience working in health promotion or community development

*         Strong understanding of policy, research and practice relevant to Indigenous health and health inequalities
