Youth and Community Development Officer - Ellenbrook



LGIA Level 7 $65,220 - $76,252 per annum plus up to 15% Superannuation

Fixed Term (12 months) - 76 hours per fortnight



Do you have youth work or community development experience? Looking for an exciting challenge working in diverse and growing communities?

The City of Swan is a large and progressive local government committed to working with young people and communities to promote and support local initiatives. Our Community Planning and Development Unit offers exciting and challenging opportunities for people wanting to make a difference.



This position will be based in the diverse communities in the rapidly growing 'Ellenbrook' place area of the City of Swan.



The role will require you to work as part of a small multi-disciplinary team to:

-       engage with young people,

-       build professional relationships and networks,

-       work with stakeholders,

-       develop programs, facilitate events



The role will also require you to:

-       oversee the operation of Youth Centres in Ellenbrook and Bullsbrook



Tertiary qualification in a relevant Human Services discipline as well as significant experience in youth work, community development or similar, and a current "C" class driver's licence is essential.
