Just a reminder to Victorian members, postgraduate psychology students and anyone else interested, about our annual APS Women and Psychology Interest Group GETTING STARTED AS WOMEN IN PSYCHOLOGY seminar this coming Wednesday 13 June 7.30-9.30pm (further details attached):



WHERE: Treacy Conference Centre, 126 The Avenue, Parkville



As in previous years, this seminar is designed to introduce new members, especially students and recent graduates, to the Women and Psychology Interest Group, and to invite you to explore some of the issues facing women as beginning psychologists. The Interest Group brings women together as practitioners, consumers, academics and students of all ages and a range of backgrounds. This interactive session will review the current requirements for APS membership, College membership, PsyBA registration, and the new provisional psychologist employment possibilities, and consider ways in which the group might support new graduates setting about locating themselves in the "real" world.



We hope to see plenty of current W & P members there as well.
