HI all on the Com Psych list,

I want to promote this very exciting role from a community psychology perspective and exciting from our Community Health Service's point of view as it is the first time KCHS has moved higher up the consumer participation ladder to create a paid role in which "lived experience" is one of the criteria for the job.

I'd love it if this can go out to networks or individuals that you know that might be interested in this role and who have had a lived experience of both- substance use and mental health concern.

It would be a challenging role (if nothing else because it is moving into new territory within our agency). At the same time I am very confident because I know how committed the ATOD team is to this area of development and there would be no shortage of support, enthusiasm and encouragement of creative and interesting ways of involving consumers and incorporating lived experience / consumer expertise into the way they & KCHS does business.

Best wishes to all,

Catherine
