Community Development Coordinator
2 positions - Altone + Ellenbrook
Position Numbers 30336 & 30339
LGIA Level 7 $65,220 - $76,252 per annum plus up to 15% Superannuation
Operational use of a vehicle
Permanent Full Time - 76 hours per fortnight

Are you experienced in community development and looking for a new challenge in diverse and rapidly growing communities?
The City of Swan is a large and progressive local government committed to working with communities to promote and support local initiatives. The Community Development team offers exciting and challenging opportunities for people who want to make a difference.

Two key positions are available in our Place Based community development team; the first in Altone (Lockridge, Beechboro & Kiara) has a focus on working with diverse communities; the second, will be based in the growth communities of 'Ellenbrook Place' area in the City of Swan.

Both roles will require you to work as part of a small multi-disciplinary team to:
*         Engage local communities
*         Build professional relationships and networks
*         Work with other stakeholders - including government, non-government and community
*         Develop and attract services to the region
*         Mobilise resources, and
*         facilitate projects and events

Tertiary qualification in a relevant Human Services discipline as well as significant experience in Community Development or similar, and a current “C” class driver’s licence is essential.
