Researchers for Asylum Seekers – Call for papers...
Abstract submissions are invited for the Annual Researchers for Asylum Seekers (RAS) Postgraduate Conference to be held at the University of Melbourne on Tuesday, 15th November, 2011.

The conference is designed for postgraduate students from Australia and New Zealand to interact and share their current research/work among peers in a friendly and stimulating environment.

The theme for this year's conference - "Detention, Debates and the Dilemmas of  Australia's Asylum Policies" - is intended to accommodate postgraduate researchers - past and present - as well as practitioners and policy makers/advisors working in this area.  Abstracts addressing any broad  interpretation of the topic from any disciplinary background are welcome.

Abstract submissions of 200 - 300 words for papers of 20 minutes duration are requested before 30th October, 2011.
