Vickie Hovane, who is an Aboriginal woman from Broome and Psychology Honours graduate/PhD student from ECU, has forwarded this media release to me.
 
The media release is a plea for help and understanding from the Aboriginal community of Balgo in Western Australia's south-eastern Kimberley, and is particularly relevant at this time because it talks about the impacts of the recent Federal and WA government interventions in Aboriginal communities.
